Half day coastal discovery of Darwin
This tour is designed to provide visitors to Darwin with a better appreciation of how the Larrakia people relate to their traditional land. It is a vehicle based tour involving several short stops where the local Indigenous guide shares stories about each place visited.

Morning Itinerary 0800-1230 ~ Afternoon itinerary 1300-1730
0800 Pick up from CBD hotels, Cruise Ship Terminal or Convention Centre
0815 Stop at Dinah Beach which is of cultural significance to the Larrakia people. It is also the cultural birthright of my father.
0820 Reboard coach and drive along Darwin Esplanade where guide talks about sites of significance around Darwin Harbour.
0830 Arrive at Mindil Beach, home of the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets (dry season only) and location of a sacred freshwater spring which is the birthright of Robert\'s father\'s sister.
0915 Arrive at East Point where Robert will relate important Larrakia stories of this area \'Poinciana Woman\' and \'Pig Man\'.
Guests are also welcome to visit the East Point Military Museum at their own cost instead of the cultural element. This small but interesting museum commemorates the military history of Darwin during World War Two
0945 Reboard the coach and make for the Darwin coastal suburb of Nightcliff where you will be told of its significance to the Larrakia people
1000 Stop at a coastal site on Nightcliff foreshore where Robert will explain various sacred sites in the area.
1015 Reboard the coach and continue on to Lee Point Beach which is part of Casuarina Coastal Reserve. During the drive the guide will field general questions.
1030 Arrive at Lee Point Beach where your guide will point out and
1230 Return to Cruise Ship Terminal or Convention Centre
