Experience Darwin through the eyes of it's Traditional Aboriginal Owners, the Larrakia. Robert Mills is a senior Larrakia man who uses his tour to educate visitors about the Aboriginal history and significance of the area.

Itinerary
- 1000 Meet at the interpretive shelter at the end of Darwin's Esplanade (across from Holiday Inn)
- Your Larrakia guide will greet you and provide a verbal (in English) Welcome to Country on behalf of the Traditional Owners of Darwin.
- Begin the tour by taking in Darwin's enormous harbour from a vantage point on the Esplanade. Covering some 1000 square kilometres, Darwin Harbour once supported large numbers of Aboriginal people.
- Your guide will point out sites of cultural significance around the harbour and along the Esplanade.
- As you move along the Esplanade your Larrakia guide will bring the place to life with stories of its historical and cultural significance.
- Discover native flora along the way and learn more from your guide about the significance and uses of various plants to Larrakia people.
- Below the Esplanade, through a pocket of rainforest is Lameroo Beach where you will learn of the various marine animal totems of the Larrakia.
- Back on the Esplanade the tour takes you to historic Lyons Cottage which, was once part of the British Australia Telegraph Company’s network of stations.
- It now houses Aboriginal Bush Traders, is an organisation promoting Indigenous tourism experiences as well as arts, crafts and bush harvest items.
- Lyons cottage is also home to an historic photographic display of early Darwin including many images of Larrakia people from the first days of contact.
- Tour finishes at Tourism Top End (Darwin Visitor Information Centre)
